Tip-Sea fishing at the Tides Inn

If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing at the Tides Inn, look no further than Tip-Sea Charters.

Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Daniel “Bull” Kurdziel, and Captain Mike Clark can tell you all about the local fishery.

Species like Striped Bass (rockfish), Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Bluefish, croaker, spot, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll, cast, and bottom fish.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard, and they even offer a 2 hour kids bottom fishing trip. Child-sized life vests will be provided per federal law, or you may bring your own.

The fishing machine, “Wee Tip-Sea” is a 20’ Sport Craft center console with a capacity for 4 anglers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, tackle, ice, and any lures and bait.

No fishing license? No problem! The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip.

Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t forget sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, snacks, a hat, and of course, your camera. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

The 7:00am 4-hour trip, and the 2:00pm 2-hour kids trip both depart from the marina at the Tides Inn.

Areas fished are Carters Creek, the Rappahannock River down to the Robert O. Norris Jr bridge, the Corrotoman River, and other small creeks in the area.

Now’s the time to experience fishing in the Northern Neck for yourself, with Tip-Sea Charters at the Tides Inn!
