Where: Departing Windmill Point Marina for your private guided waterfowl hunt on Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay and Rappahannock River.

Equipment: Outfitted with a brand new, extremely stable, two-man layout boat that is only 8″ above the water line. And dozens of brand new sea duck decoys on brand new long line rigging.

Waterfowl: Surf scoter, Black scoter, White Wing scoter, Long Tail duck (formerly old Squaw) and a variety of diver ducks.

Services provided: Tip-Sea Charter’s experienced Captain/guide will transport you and your party to the proven hunting grounds, then the deployment and retrieval of the two-man layout boat and the decoy spread. Advice and tips are given throughout the hunt. Any waterfowl taken are retrieved by the guide so you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy hunting Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay.

Price: $250 per person

What you will need: Shotgun, Non-Toxic shot, appropriate state and federal licenses required to hunt waterfowl in Virginia, proper clothing to withstand January weather on the Chesapeake Bay, sunglasses, snacks and drinks, (no alcohol permitted) and of course a camera.
